Rich and rustic. These lamb shanks are slowly braised in red wine and harissa until meltingly tender, finished with warming spices and served with soft homemade flatbreads. A total flavour journey.

Portion Guidance
Each portion includes one large lamb shank. Couple = two, Family = four. Add extra sides if feeding a crowd.

Wine Pairing Suggestion
A gutsy Shiraz or Rhône red stands up to the spice. Or go mint tea if you're feeling traditional.

Reheating Instructions
Oven: 170°C / 338°F for 20–30 minutes, covered loosely with foil.
Place in an oven-safe dish to retain all the juices.
Microwave (if needed): 3–4 minutes per shank, turning halfway.
Place on a microwave-safe plate or bowl. Heat until piping hot.
